For more than 50 years, the Friends of the Library have striven to achieve a singular goal: Aid the library by staying on the cutting edge of technology, services and programs that promote lifelong learning. Since 1971, the Friends have donated more than $2 million to the library.

The Friends of the Library raises funds for the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. This online book store is an opportunity for you to purchase new books and support our library at the same time. Part of the funds will be used to keep Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in our community.
